Ayanna Molina is a dynamic public speaker having spoken to many groups of people from diverse backgrounds with heart, intelligence and fervor. Ayanna is on a personal mission to bring education, awareness and support of specific Black/Brown/Indigenous mental health needs. Professionally trained and nationally certified and licensed as a Professional Counselor/Mental Heath Therapist, she has a unique decade long background as a mental health therapist and advocate in many settings. She has provided support in the public school system, in early childhood education, community centers, religious organizations, clinical settings and in private practice.
Ayanna is not only knowledgable about the specific mental health needs of Afro-Indigenous people, she is unapologetic about the need for specific and effective mental health interventions for Our people.
She is unafraid to speak truth to "power" and has spoken at a wide range of events including the most recent "A Conversation on Wellness" curated by Wizdom Arts, "Love Yourself: Mind, Body and Soul" curated by the Women's Health Coalition at Crescent Care Community Clinics and "Teach, Empower and Advocate" curated by Priority Healthcare.
